I have a big vegetable garden from which I donate food to the pre-school and the elderly. I'm at a relaxed age where all my children are grown up and I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. I'm at peace with everything and with myself. I still have creative ideas that I can impart to others.

12 years ago Daphney had a huge stroke and the doctors said she would never talk or walk again. She not only did both but returned to her job as the principal of a primary school before her retirement. She has a pre-school and primary school that is in the inner city of Acornhoek, South Africa. She lets young mothers drop their children off so they can finish high school.
