She nourishes with her love

I’m 71 years of age and being at this age, I feel so happy to see the Grace of God upon my life. It is said, that if you are still alive beyond 71 years, it’s a bonus. I am still able to do my daily chores. I keep healthy by eating foods like fruits and vegetables. I have a big vegetable garden from which I donate food to the pre-school and to the elderly. I am at a relaxed age where all of my children are grown up and I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. I am at peace with everything, and with myself. I still have creative ideas that I can impart to others.

12 years ago, Daphney had a huge stroke and the doctors said she would never speak or walk again. She not only achieved both, but returned to her job as the principal of a primary school for her last year before retirement. Daphney’s pre-school and primary school (up to grade 5) is considered the inner “city” of Acornhoek, a place where young mothers can bring their children so that they themselves can finish high school.
