Project: Feeling Our Age

Eliminating ageism.

Feeling Our Age uses art to address outdated sterotypes and attitudes towards older women. The project encompasses painting the portraits of 60 racially diverse women.The framed portraits are 30" by 24". Each woman shares her story of what it feels like to be their age. Some have elaborated on the challenges they have faced, others describe feeling content with the choices they have made, but collectively all the stories illustrate why society must not exclude this segment of the population that still has so much to give.
